THE TEAM
Our Elders
Anthony Chan
Elder / Teacher-Pastor
Originally from the USA, Anthony has lived in London for over a decade and has worn various hats during that time. Originally having trained as a solicitor, Anthony moved from Law into Ministry work in 2022, and hasn’t looked back since.
He is employed full-time at Church at South Hampstead, is a full-time dad, and is studying Christian Apologetics at Biola University’s Talbot School of Theology. How he finds time to do 2.5 jobs, only God knows.
Our Leaders
Mitchell Christie
Trustee / Service Director
Born and bred in the UK, Mitch is as English as it gets. Having studied Business Economics at Swansea, Mitch has since moved into the world of consulting.
He loves long walks by the beach, board games, picking up heavy things at the gym, and has a big heart for outreach evangelism.
Chun-Wei Tsai
Trustee / Treasurer
Originally from Taiwan, Chun-Wei grew up in Switzerland and has been in London for a decade now. After completing his studies, Chun-Wei spent some time practicing as a nurse before going back to school to complete his Master’s at Imperial College, following which he went to work for Big Pharma.
He enjoys music, leg days at the gym, scuba-diving, and serving at church wherever he can.
Andrew Dean
Interim-Trustee / Worship Director
A proud Northener, Andy brings his vibrant spirit to our community. By day, he heads the Drama Department at a London secondary school, sharing his decade-long experience in teaching drama and music.
Andy is driven by his passion for helping people encounter Jesus through worship, both when they are part of the congregation and by supporting them in joining the worship team.
Wendy Addo
Women’s Ministry
Wendy is from North London and works for NHS laboratories as a scientist. She finds great joy in worshiping through music and she plays the piano on the worship team. While she’s always preferred working behind the scenes, she has recently stepped into a leadership role to help support and encourage the women in the church.
Outside of church, Wendy enjoys playing the piano in her spare time and has a love for salsa dancing.
Hannah Chan
Children’s Ministry
Hannah is from Southampton and has her own physio business that specializes in children with developmental disabilities, a lot of them non-verbal. Proud mother of two, she’s energetic, caring, and excels at sharing the gospel with little ones, and making them disciples of Jesus.
When she catches a break between work and mother duties, she enjoys running, reading, and the occasional TV show.
